Two of the most common question we are asked is this:

1. How come a standard LNB with flange works with this bracket, when with other brackets a special flangeless LNB similar to the TechSAT TRACKER II Mini must be used to reach 4-degrees?

While other brackets & mono blocks are strait, the WS24 bracket has a slightly curved guide rail that focuses the second LNB at exactly 4 degrees of the primary LNB once it's installed at the closes position to the primary LNB. Because of this slight curve, the LNB's do not need to be as close to each other as they would on a strait bracket or mono block. Please see pictures below:

2. If the WS24 bracket does not rotate, how can I set the polarization for the LNB?

To answer this question, I actually have to point out another benefit of the WS24 bracket Vs. other brackets and mono-blocks. You see, each satellite has a polarization of it's own. In order to receive optimum signal from a satellite, you have to align and adjust the LNB to the correct polarization to match the polarity of the signal that is broadcasting. While installing a multiple LNB system, and using a mono-block or a bracket that rotates to adjust the polarization, it actually gives you an average polarity adjustment (you basically take the polarity angle of both satellites and divide it by two. This gives you the median of the two and you adjust your bracket to that polarity. Example: 1 satellite has a 15 degrees polarity and the other has a 20 degrees, you would set your bracket to 17.5 polarization.) which means you will not receive as high of a signal as you should on either satellite because neither LNB is polarized properly for the particular satellite that the signal is broadcasting from.

On the other hand, the WS24 bracket allows you to rotate the actual LNB to the actual polarization of each individual satellite in order to fine tune each satellite individually with the LNB to allow reception of optimum signal from both satellites. Please see picture below:

Since you can use a LNB with flange on the bracket, you can even get your favorite programming from two satellites that are 4 degrees apart on any number of receivers using a single dish system. That's right! You can use 2 dual LNB's and a multi-switch of your choice to wire up many receivers.
